We are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide to us when you visit our websites, including this site and other sites we may create and maintain from time to time in an effort to engage, educate, and communicate with clients, customers, and the general public. These websites are collectively referred to herein as the “Website” and also sometimes referred to herein as the “Services.” This Policy describes our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing such information.

This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect both through our Services and also in text and electronic messages between you and our Company and/or Services.

 

Information and Digital Properties Outside the Scope of this Policy

This Privacy Policy describes tools we use on the Website, which The Insurance Partners created for engagement and marketing for the Company. Please note that websites, tools, surveys, and other platforms created by The Insurance Partners for clients do not contain cookies or other mechanisms to collect Personally Identifiable Information at the time these websites, tools, surveys, and other platforms are delivered to clients. The Insurance Partners is not responsible for the privacy practices of its clients regarding websites, tools, surveys, and other platforms if, and after such time as, these deliverables are handed over to the client for full client control.

Please also note:

  • This Privacy Policy does not apply to any information collected by us offline (through non-electronic methods such as in-person meetings).

  • This Privacy Policy does not apply to any information collected via third-party websites that may be accessed through hyperlinks on our Services. 

  • This Privacy Policy also does not apply to products or services we provide to clients after our work is complete, nor does it apply, as noted above, to the practices of companies, employees, and independent contractors that we do not own or control.

1. Information we collect about you

We collect several types of information about visitors to the Website, interactions with our Company, and/or users of our Services. We may collect this information either directly when you provide it to us or automatically as you navigate through the Website or in your communications with our Company. WE MAY ELECT TO PROCESS CREDIT CARDS AND RELATED INFORMATION VIA THIRD PARTY SITES AND APPLICATIONS NOT DIRECTLY THROUGH THE WEBSITE. You may also voluntarily provide information to be published or displayed (“posted”) on public areas of the Website (such as blogs, forums, message boards, and the like), or transmitted to other users of the Website using “sharing” features (collectively, “User Contributions”). (b) Non-Personally Identifiable Information. We may collect, or our third party ad server and/or content server may collect, certain Non-Personally Identifiable Information, that does not by itself identify a specific individual. Such information tells us about your equipment, browsing actions, the resources that you access and use through the Services, your operating system and browser type. Our third party ad servers will provide us with summary, but not individual, reports that will tell us how many ads were presented and clicked upon at our Website. The information that we collect automatically is “statistical” in nature. It helps us to deliver a better and more personalized service to users, by enabling us to estimate usage patterns, customize our Services according to your individual preferences, and speed up your searches.

From time to time, it may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the United States (“US”) or the European Economic Area (“EEA”). It may also be processed by staff operating outside the US or EEA who work for us or for one of our service providers. Such staff maybe engaged in, among other things, the fulfillment of your order, the processing of your payment details and the provision of support services. By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. The Company will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Notwithstanding the foregoing, WE MAY ELECT TO PROCESS CREDIT CARDS AND RELATED INFORMATION VIA THIRD PARTY SITES AND APPLICATIONS, NOT DIRECTLY THROUGH THE WEBSITE.

 

3. How we use your information

We use information held about you in the following ways:

  • To ensure that content from our Services is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your computer or mobile device

  • To provide you with information, products or services that you request from us or which we feel may interest you, where you have consented to be contacted for such purposes

  • To carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into between you and us, including for billing and collection

If you are an existing client customer of the Company, we will contact you by electronic means (e-mail or SMS) with information about goods and services similar to, or supportive of, those which were the subject of a previous sale to you. We and our service partners use your Personally Identifiable Information to operate our Websites and to deliver Services. For example, IN THE EVENT WE PROCESS CREDIT CARDS AND RELATED INFORMATION VIA THIRD PARTY SITES AND APPLICATIONS, NOT DIRECTLY THROUGH THE WEBSITE; we must release your address information to the delivery service to deliver products that you ordered; and we will provide order information to third parties that help us deliver the services. (b) We will disclose Personally Identifiable Information in the following circumstances: (i) if it is required by law enforcement or judicial authorities, or to cooperate with a law enforcement investigation; (ii) if we have a good faith belief that we are required or permitted to do so by law or legal process; (iii) to protect the rights, reputation, property or safety of the Company or others; (iv) to defend or enforce our rights or your obligations; (v) if the disclosure is required by mandatory standards consistent with a professional focus meeting agenda; (vi) to a third party with your prior consent to do so; or (vii) if we are under a duty to disclose or share your Personally Identifiable Information in order to enforce or apply, or any contracts or agreement that may exist between you and the Company including this Privacy Policy and other related policies and disclosures. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction. (c) In the event that the Company decides to sell all or part of its stock or assets or enter into a merger, we reserve the right to include Personally Identifiable Information and Non-Personally Identifiable Information among the assets transferred to the acquiring or surviving company. (d) We may provide Non-Personally Identifiable Information about our clients’ and customers’ sales, traffic patterns, and related Website information to third party advertisers.
