Meet Scott Ridge, Senior Consultant

The Insurance Partners proudly welcomes Scott Ridge to the team as a Senior Consultant. Scott has more than 25 years of carrier experience in the executive benefits market, particularly with supplemental individual disability insurance. He enjoys working with large executive benefit brokers and high-profile customers to develop new guaranteed issue plan designs and enrollment strategies, as well as providing ongoing maintenance and re-enrollment solutions for existing customers. 

“Scott is a relationship builder who takes care of his brokers and clients,” Managing Principal Mike Zimmerman, shares. “He will carry out The Insurance Partners high level of service that we are known for.”

Scott draws on his 27+ years of experience at Unum, including roles as a Client Manager and Senior Account Manager. Scott holds a Business Administration Finance degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. 

“Scott has worked with many top brokers across the country, so he understands what they need and how to best serve them,” EVP of Distribution Keith Johnson, shares. “In this role he will be able to identify and solve company problems with impactful solutions.”

Scott and his wife, Beth, have three very active children who they love to support. Scott is active in his church, The Ministry Center, where he has served on staff as Worship Pastor since 2005. He loves to play golf and turkey hunt, and currently serves as the Treasurer for their local chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation.

“I’m excited to work with a firm that represents all carriers,” Scott shared. “I’m looking forward to helping our sales team and our brokers find the carriers and product solutions that are the best fit for the client.”
